Cultural program

The Give Palestine Association has adopted a pioneering project aimed at supporting the Palestinian child's culture. This project has successfully established 42 model children's libraries in the heart of residential areas in the Gaza Strip and marginalized villages in the governorates of Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Give Palestine has also implemented campaigns to encourage children to read in schools, libraries, and public institutions. The idea began by attracting children to reading and cultural activities through wall advertisements, as well as press and radio announcements. Give Palestine aimed to spread culture among children through their favorite methods, such as fast songs and children's performance troupes, such as the "Mama Karima Family" troupe in Gaza and the "Gazelle Family" troupe in the West Bank. These are cultured families that love reading and encourage children to learn and gain knowledge.

The society has also successfully organized 3 specialized summer camps. The first was the first scouting camp for orphaned children in Gaza, the second was a technology camp for children in Egypt, and the third was a physical and psychological rehabilitation camp for a group of children injured in the 2009 events in Latvia, Eastern Europe.

To keep pace with the tremendous technological development in recent years, the society launched the "Listen and Read" application for children on smart devices and the internet in 2014. This is the first Arabic application that allows children to listen to stories read aloud with images and in an exciting way. The application is free for children, and the stories are published by Dar Al-Fati Al-Arabi, the leading publishing house specializing in children's stories in the Arab world.

In 2019, the society launched the "I am the Creator" project for children from all Palestinian governorates. This project includes a short story writing competition called "I am the Narrator," which was widely successful in its first session and attracted nearly 1,000 competing stories, along with the "I am the Painter" competition for children to draw on the themes of the winning stories. Give Palestine published the five winning stories along with children's drawings on their themes, and these stories were distributed in libraries in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem.

The total number of beneficiaries of the cultural program reached approximately 450,000 beneficiaries distributed across all governorates of the homeland.
