The "SAFE 3" psychosocial support project continues to provide essential services to children and mothers across various areas in Gaza Strip. Now in its third phase, generously funded and partnered with the APIC Holding Group, the project has implemented a series of specialized activities benefiting approximately 7,000 women and children. These activities include a range of workshops, focus groups, and psychosocial support sessions, as well as targeted awareness-raising initiatives, supportive services, and educational resources for the beneficiaries.
Launched in 2021, the program's first two phases reached approximately 3,000 and 2,000 mothers and children, respectively, with the strategic partnership and generous funding of the APIC Holding Group.
The program aims to establish a robust psychosocial intervention framework, implemented by a team of highly trained professionals and social workers. Through intensive workshops, individual and group counseling sessions, educational resources, and recreational activities tailored to the specific needs of beneficiaries, the project seeks to provide comprehensive support to Palestinian families. The third phase has focused on the Gaza Strip, aiming to alleviate the ongoing impact of the conflict by reaching approximately 5,000 families in affected areas.
Since its inception in 2003, the Give Palestine Association has been committed to providing humanitarian assistance through various programs, including emergency relief, cultural initiatives, and social services. The organization's "Give Gaza" program offers emergency relief to families affected by the Gaza conflict, providing food, medicine, and basic necessities, along with psychosocial support delivered by qualified social workers.
